He works as a printer's reader. He’s a good-looking man: very tall and quite slim, with light brown hair. He has a soft deep voice. Today he’s wearing white trousers and a blue striped T-shirt. He wears an ear-ring in his left ear.
Sue is 33. She’s married, and she’s got two children: a boy and a girl. She works as a part-time nurse. She’s pretty: slim and blonde, not very tall. She has quite a hard voice. Today she’s wearing olive green trousers and a shirt of the same colour.
John’s 41, but he looks older. He’s married with two children: a boy and a girl. He works with race horses. He’s very short, slim and thin-faced — but very strong. He’s got dark brown hair. S: Erm. Philosophy.
I: Yeah.
S: And, erm, I like Dick Francis and those sort of novels.
Erm, and the old historical novel, and more serious novels as well.
I: What newspapers do you read?
S: Erm, I very rarely read a newspaper, I hate to admit.
But if I read one, it’s the Telegraph or the — I don’t know, I find them all pretty difficult to read, newspapers.
I: Do you smoke?
S: No.
I: You drink?
S: Yes.
